Bookings are now being taken for the GLNP's 2019 conference - Drivers of change: making sense of new opportunities for nature. The event will focus on net gain and natural capital and explore the opportunities and challenges that these increasingly important concepts present for Greater Lincolnshire. It will also consider how they may link in to nature recovery networks. Speakers will include Technical Advisor for Kings Crops, Jim Egan, taking a look at what natural capital means in relation to farm businesses and Conservation and Planning Lead Advisor for Natural England, Nick Squirrel, giving an insight into how biodiversity net gain is being achieved in Dorset. The event will take place on Wednesday, 6 November at The Showroom in Lincoln and a full programme will be available shortly.
