Do you want bigger, better and more joined up areas where wildlife can thrive in Lincolnshire and can you persuade others to help make this happen? Do you want to help people understand how nature is part of the solution to many of the issues facing society today? Do you want to help make societal change a reality and address the biodiversity and climate change crisis? The Greater Lincolnshire Nature Partnership is seeking someone with strong interpersonal, public speaking and written communication skills to join its team. You will excel at managing competing deadlines and delivering tasks on time to a high standard. You will be advocating for nature from the Humber to The Wash and promoting a nature recovery with benefits for all. This post requires an individual with sound knowledge and understanding of environmental legislation in England, including the Environment Act, as well as environmental strategy such as the Government’s Environmental Improvement Plan. It will be critical to have experience of working with and engaging people. Experience working across different types of media is required. As well as having excellent communication skills, you will have a high level of commitment to nature recovery and a desire to achieve change. A relevant environmental qualification or equivalent work experience and a full current UK driving licence are also required. The GLNP is a government accredited Local Nature Partnership.
